Autoclave Buyer’s Guide

Current-production models available today:

Midmark M9/M11 next gen

Midmark’s M11 has been a trusted workhorse for decades, but this next-gen model represents a complete redesign. The digital display is nice, but this new model still lacks closed-door drying, which feels like an oversight. Midmarlk boasts that the redesigned chamber provides a longer, 25,000-cycle service life, which is about twice what you can expect from most B-class models.

Features:

Best MFR tech support in the industry

Autofill and autodrain available (not included)

Widely supported by service companies

No closed-door drying

Available in 9’ or 11’ chamber size

S class only

Closed-door drying

Single-use water

Available in two sizes

M-Series by Tuttnauer

Tuttnauer’s manual autoclaves come in a wide variety of sizes and have a lower purchase price than automatic models. Requires more training to operate

Allows direct control of sterilization time and temp

Proper sterilization monitoring is critical

Available in multiple sizes

Statclave G4 by SciCan

An innovative design from a longtime authority in autoclaves, the Statclave is a unique and complex B-class design. Features:

Fully featured for IoT

Single-use water

Closed-door drying
